Another Hinako production. Many many interesting stuff and perhaps refreshing ideas. I have yet to fully understand and appreciate the combos, so I’ll guess I’ll take a while to digest this. Meanwhile, I recommend this to everyone who watches combo videos.

p.s. Phase 2 has begun.
Yeah, so many left when some of my friends are in their last fortnight before claiming back their pink IC >_<… okok i know there are many others who ORD later than me =X
Phase 1 of clearing off/leave has ended with me going back to work today. Phase 2 starting tmr afternoon. Wahahaha… Not bad at all, since I can siam internal auditing (leave planned and applied way before the info about auditing came. Wahahaha…)
Oh, and i received news that i gotta take AMPT (Annual Medic Profiency Test) even though i’m going to ORD in like 43 days? Yeah yeah, take test = can continue be medic. In HQMC already hardly touch medic stuff (other than duties really), ORD liao go back civilian world lagi worse lah unless i kena call back reservist early early, but reservist also got medic training again what diao. Cant they just think logically? Or maybe logic doesnt exist. *ahem cough* Best part, i dont even know when. If clash with my leave then too bad for them =P this totally spoilt my day. urgh =(
Next random piece of info about me. Erm, let’s see… i switched to singnet 3500kbps plan. Why? It’s cheaper than the 1500 plan i was using previously by like 25%? What the heck manx. And i hit 230k/s for 10s just now -_-” So it proves i’m using a plan >1500. lol. recontracted for the cheaper subscription really. =)
p.s. i need to break some record. so far none this month! dang.

Lazy to do screencaps this time. Though it’s KOF Union’s SFZ2 CMV, it’s really 1 person’s combo and another’s editing. Hmm…
But definitely a great piece of work. Why u ask? Because the combos are all by Darkone, one of the many that i truly respect. His prowess spread much more than just KOF, as you will be able to see in this video. Highly recommended for anyone who has played this game before. See how far this game can be pushed! You don’t have to be a “pro” player to be able to see that it’s insane =) (even i can tell lor.)
now, the webpage is here. go download whichever version u like, i’m sure everyone who visits my blog can read chinese to some extent. no need for me to explain anything further.
it has begun, my clearing of off/leave =D it’s a step closer to ORD!! 17 working days left though, so it really is nothing but an illusion. lol.
however, i received a call from qungen just now. he asked about ampt and i found out there’s an ampt session next wednesday! sian, the day that i finally go back to camp since yesterday had to be the test date!? and notify so late… crazy lah those people… worse thing is i might not even be in camp on wednesday thanks to some dude. heh. should i just play dumb and act as if i dont know there was such a test, since obviously qungen only knew about it today and i wasn’t in camp… /me evil. *grins*
that aside, leiceister’s coming back to sg soon yet again =) though it’s still 1mth2 days away, it’s quite soon lah. he even sent out invitations to his bday gathering liaox. @ chevron’s though… on a weekday too. hopefully nothing pops up and i should be going there as well…
i so wanna watch death note. jeff pls come back sooner can? lol…
Went to NUS yesterday for this talk about early matriculation to NUS next year. In the end, it’s 2 special terms (each lasting 6 weeks) and you can take up to 4 modules (2 per term max) before the rest join in (the gals and other guys like poly dudes). so for those who intend to ‘chiong’ and *try* to finish 1 semester earlier than the usual people, u can actually do so by taking some modules earlier and a bit more than the recommended 5 in one of the semesters during the actual course (each uni sem each student takes approx 5 modules). bottomline is, if u manage to somehow complete 5 modules faster than those who will join in the august term (normal term), u can “graduate” a semester earlier. why did i use the ” ” is cos u wont receive the actual cert, but u can apply for jobs as NUS will write a letter for you or something. end up u still get ur cert (plus throw ur cap) together with the rest of the cohort. heh.
personally, i’m not very keen on going in early. given the hectic pace of the special terms, i dont really see how it is a GOOD way to let guys adjust back into the “studying/use ur brain for academic stuff” mode, unless u go in early, take 1 or 2 modules in total so that 1 or 2 semesters in the full course u can relax *abit*. that defeats the purpose of going in early right? end up spending more time in university.
good thing is, i’ve got time to think until year-end when NUS will send an official form. come to think of it, it aint so far away man. hmm…
on other matters, Speed Demo Archives has updated with new starcraft runs! mission/campaign speed runs of course. it’s really amazing how people can keep on slashing times for the missions. Starcraft’s (original) time of 4:04:42 has gone down to 3:28:39 and Starcraft’s (brood war) original time of 4:30:00 has gone down to 3:03:40. that’s some serious improvements over the past 1 year. of course there are many other speed runs of other games on the site, but most of the games there i’ve never played before. for games that i play, usually i will check it out and marvel at their attempt to push the limits of the games… amazing stuff. (ok i have weird interests)
regarding my next video, i’m still working hard for the combos. did a lame “spiderwoman” combo just hours ago. why do i say that? cos i made Whip do her J.qcb+C 5 times in succession. rofls. (for those who dont know, it’s okay. i understand.)
next on, to the shows i’ve been watching. first up is 七剑下天山 the tv series. i must say the first 2 eps are much better than the movie, which was really really rushed. too bad the audio is in canto so i can’t really understand it. but lucky for me, there are english subtitles, though sometimes the translation that they use is kinda weird and have lost some flavor (i’m guessing based on the pronunciation in canto, since it’s *somewhat similar* to mandarin.). i guess i can make do with this tv series unless i get bored of it a few eps in the future… heh.
second, it’s death note (the anime)! i must say this series is DAMN GOOD. didn’t read the manga. havent watched the movie (it’s only part 1. and i’m waiting for jeff to come back to watch together. he just left for taiwan today. lol). david also commented that the movie (live-action) is good too. i guess the success of its manga counterpart (which started it all) is no fluke. can’t wait for more of this series…
lastly are movies. watched superman returns, click and da vinci code recently. superman returns wasn’t really interesting, no wonder many people complained to me that it’s rather boring. nothing much really. click was more light-hearted and meaningful. as for da vinci code, i didn’t read the book but i could tell from the movie that it’s sort of a fast forwarded novel (assuming it follows rather closely) as some things progress too darn fast. heh. of the 3 movies, i rate click 4.25/5 (ooo weird rating), da vinci code 3.5/5 and superman returns 2.5/5.
now now, i really should get to bed and sleep. i freaking have to work tmr! sighx, even with an off on friday, the weekend still seemed so short. never mind, i have 21 working days left, and less than 53 days to get my pink IC back. it’s the last leg of the 2 year NS. bear with it! (i’ll grumble about ICT on a later date. lols)
p.s. eVonne’s new album is good! =)
wrong wrong wrong
| You Are An ISFP |
| The Artist
You are a gifted artist or musician (though your talents may be dormant right now). You would make a good veterinarian, pediatrician, or composer. |
As an ISFP, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you deal with things according to how you feel about them, or how they fit into your value system. Your secondary mode is external, where you take things in via your five sense in a literal, concrete fashion.
ISFPs live in the world of sensation possibilities. They are keenly in tune with the way things look, taste, sound, feel and smell. They have a strong aesthetic appreciation for art, and are likely to be artists in some form, because they are unusually gifted at creating and composing things which will strongly affect the senses. They have a strong set of values, which they strive to consistently meet in their lives. They need to feel as if they’re living their lives in accordance with what they feel is right, and will rebel against anything which conflicts with that goal. They’re likely to choose jobs and careers which allow them the freedom of working towards the realization of their value-oriented personal goals.
ISFPs tend to be quiet and reserved, and difficult to get to know well. They hold back their ideas and opinions except from those who they are closest to. They are likely to be kind, gentle and sensitive in their dealings with others. They are interested in contributing to people’s sense of well-being and happiness, and will put a great deal of effort and energy into tasks which they believe in.
ISFPs have a strong affinity for aesthetics and beauty. They’re likely to be animal lovers, and to have a true appreciation for the beauties of nature. They’re original and independent, and need to have personal space. They value people who take the time to understand the ISFP, and who support the ISFP in pursuing their goals in their own, unique way. People who don’t know them well may see their unique way of life as a sign of carefree light-heartedness, but the ISFP actually takes life very seriously, constantly gathering specific information and shifting it through their value systems, in search for clarification and underlying meaning.
ISFPs are action-oriented individuals. They are “doers”, and are usually uncomfortable with theorizing concepts and ideas, unless they see a practical application. They learn best in a “hands-on” environment, and consequently may become easily bored with the traditional teaching methods, which emphasize abstract thinking. They do not like impersonal analysis, and are uncomfortable with the idea of making decisions based strictly on logic. Their strong value systems demand that decisions are evaluated against their subjective beliefs, rather than against some objective rules or laws.
ISFPs are extremely perceptive and aware of others. They constantly gather specific information about people, and seek to discover what it means. They are usually penetratingly accurate in their perceptions of others.
ISFPs are warm and sympathetic. They genuinely care about people, and are strongly service-oriented in their desire to please. They have an unusually deep well of caring for those who are close to them, and are likely to show their love through actions, rather than words.
ISFPs have no desire to lead or control others, just as they have no desire to be led or controlled by others. They need space and time alone to evaluate the circumstances of their life against their value system, and are likely to respect other people’s needs for the same.
The ISFP is likely to not give themself enough credit for the things which they do extremely well. Their strong value systems can lead them to be intensely perfectionist, and cause them to judge themselves with unneccesary harshness.
The ISFP has many special gifts for the world, especially in the areas of creating artistic sensation, and selflessly serving others. Life is not likely to be extremely easy for the ISFP, because they take life so seriously, but they have the tools to make their lives and the lives of those close to them richly rewarding experiences.

50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick!51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you’d have better luck understanding Chinese. 71-90: You’ve got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely. 91-110: You’re average. It’s easy to predict how you’ll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that. 111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt. 131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin. 150+: Two possibilities - you’ve either out “Dr. Phil-ed” Dr. Phil… or you’re a dirty liar. |
