Yeah! I cleaned my cpu fan, all thanks to this sudden urge to clean it after desmond cleaned his recently. it’s sooo much quieter now, yet to see if affects the power supply. oh well i shall see.

leicester came back to branch today, though he came back to sg on saturday night. stupid me oversleep so didn’t go meet him at airport, which i wanted to do initially. oh well, can finally not keep it a secret liao! haha. feels good eh? yeah~ and boy oh boy, he really slimmed down alotz. well, that’s good cos it means his hard work has paid off. i mean, u’ll feel damn sad if all the hard work u put in shows no/little results right? i guess there should be an outing sometime this week, which day i wouldn’t know, but surely there’ll be one. do inform me in advance kk? =)
speaking of which, justin also came back today, though i had no idea why he did so. no one told me also. maybe should ask tmr. but his appearance is so short lah. hic.
2 more days and my absolute days will drop to a 2 digit figure. WOOHOO~!
and i discovered that adding shift+, text shift+. will cause the blog entry title to disappear. must be the way the site is coded. hic

i have no idea what title is suitable for the random stuffz i’m gonna write. dont wanna use “some random thoughts (2)”. it looks so sian. but then again, this title looks equally sian. hic.
did yet another friday ops duty 2 days back. kind of sick of friday duty. though it’s good that u can go home directly after duty ends instead of waiting until 3.30pm (or 3pm) with a day’s work, it’s just sian that this duty has eaten into your weekend time, and there’s no 2hour off or whatever “compensation”. if things go the way they are, next month i *should* not be doing on a friday. yay!! but then againz, i only have to do duties until october. nov onwards no duties for me (unless tio extra -___-”) same goes for medic covers, which sucks now totally on weekdays cos of the extended hours and no offs nothing. not sure about weekend duties nowadays, but can’t be worse than weekdays as there’s still a measly (sp.) half day off.
gosh, i’m kb-ing so much again. must be the near-ord-but-not-yet-ord mood that’s contributing to all these stuff. hopefully in 102 days (or a few hours more), i can get my pink IC. actually the important thing is saying byebye to SAF, until it’s reservist time (urgh). i mean 11B or pink IC serve the same function. getting outta organisation is more important imo (as of present time).
speaking of which, i need to SERIOUSLY plan what i’m gonna do after ord. i’ll probably go learn driving, but i can’t possibly slack around the rest of the time. may need to find a job to earn some money (to spend duh). but other than tuition (which i think i wont be a very good tutor), i have no idea what’s feasible for me to take up as a job. i shall see what my friends (who ord in Nov) work as, and maybe see if there’s any lobang. lol.
now, as to what will happen on the 28th. i’ve told some people in the branch not to take off on Monday, the 28th. they mistaken it as cannot take off on monday, which is fundamentally wrong. i encourage them to come to work on monday cos a surprise is gonna happen. at least 1 other person knows what’s gonna happen on monday, but i’m not saying who. just see for yourself on monday in office man.
urgh, woke up early but didn’t eat breakfast. now i’m hungry. off to find food (lunch). cya around.

And so Qungen had a birthday bash for himself. and no, he didn’t get bashed up. instead i think he really enjoyed himself, seeing that so many people actually turned up, even though he was going around talking to everyone and didn’t seem to have much rest/eating time. i guess the company was what he was looking forward to in the first place.
now that he’s turned 21. he can do a few more things, like watching R21 shows!!! ok, i know that’s not the main purpose of turning 21. hmm, can vote also, but elections just passed, so it’ll be a few years before he can exercise this right (assuming still got opposition challenge lahz). congrats to him on reaching age of 21.

yea, 121 days to ord. thus 11 square. not some new shopping centre ok. (think century square, marina square, novena square etc). 67 work days left. (well i excluded days of duties in that)
so today is eve of national day. half day? nah, only sch kids/students get that. so what’s so special about today? parade!! yes, parade -_-. first time i wore my beret, which obviously isn’t seasoned so it looks like crap (goes well with me right? cos i’m crappish too. lol). it’s been about a year since i really stand still for sucha long time. at the beginning during the rehearsal, my feet (esp the soles) hurt to the max. numbness coming in and all. oh man, suddenly that reminded me about the times i had in tekong then slowly i got used to the pain. after the rehearsal was a short break, by then my feet were already more or less accustomed to it already =) so i guess some bit of tekong “training” is still left in me. i guess it will be gone soon. lol.
anyway i think that’ll be the last time i’d be wearing a beret till i ord. i mean, i dont expect any parades coming up so yea ><
was looking through some of the lame stuff that i did when i was in sec school. i actually did a project on prime numbers. i took damn long (i think like 6 months) to just find out prime numbers till about 2000ish only. some more i brute force the numbers out, meaning i try to divide that number by some of the small numbers and smaller prime numbers just to get 1 additional number. but, a simple google search now gives me sites that have prime numbers up to TEN MILLION. -_- super sad lah. haiz. how naive i was then. the days where i had the dream of proving that all even numbers are sum of 2 prime numbers. then, it wasn’t proven yet (i dunno if it’s proven yet) and i read in papers they offer at least US$1m for the person who could prove it. >< yeah what a daydreamer i was.
what have i become now? a slacker, a lazy bum. a useless bugger wasting earth’s resources. i have not contributed much to society (i’ve taken alot ><). neither have i treated people around me well (imo, compared to the average treatment i get). i think i really lack the discipline and the right morals/values/character. ><
ok, why am i saying all this? oh yah, so that i just wasted several minutes (or seconds if u’re a super speed reader.) of your time. see la, waste people’s precious time again. i think what i need now is an aim, a definite one. and what would that be? i have no idea…
