seems that now the news is all about elections elections and more elections. i know there’s a lot of coverage in the papers, but since i dont read the papers, i thought i’ll be slightly safer from all the election intoxication. however, to my horror, the 6.30pm news on ch8 is all about the elections in sg. no news of regional, global events. gawd, are there really no events worth reporting over the elections? so what if this area has this guy going around doing this and that, visiting ppl here and there? will it change how other ppl feel about their own constituency? they can see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts who are the people worthy of their secret (hmm…?) vote.
okay enough of that political thing. urgh. and so, today is the last day of the first long weekend of may. tmr’s back to work, back to office, back for more ns! only 100+ more times to go, as my friend has calculated that i have about 140 working days left, taking into account of leave and public holidays! doesn’t include offs that i might be able to get (by doing duties. urgh.) well at least david’s coming back to office tmr, which means i have someone to share the arrows with me! YES YES YES! lol. i sot liao. =D
was talking to jeffrey yesterday (no i think it’s 2 days ago. sheesh my memory is getting from worse to worst.) seems that he will be getting married soon. moved into his new (and own) hdb flat. though he tells me that not everything is in yet, at least he has a place of his own with the one he loves. (: hopes he has a house warming party when everything’s done up. then can go have some fun (:
ok lah…. ’nuff said. though i know pap will win back most of their contested seats, i do hope they win with a narrow margin for some. hmm…
